An Atlantic puffin stands
amidst a cluster of white daisies on a Shetland cliffside, its
vibrant orange beak providing a sharp contrast to the surrounding
greenery and petals. This charismatic seabird appears strikingly
colourful in its breeding-season plumage, which it will eventually
shed for a much duller appearance during the winter months. |
