| Constructed between 1864 and 1865 at Cleveland, Queensland, the Cleveland Point Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Moreton Bay. The structure is significant for its rare hexagonal timber design, which influenced the construction of other timber-framed lighthouses along the coast. It operated as a primary navigation aid until it was deactivated in 1976 and moved to its current position as a historical landmark. |
