Rådhuset station, situated on Stockholm's blue metro line on Kungsholmen Island, opened in 1975 and is named after the courthouse above it. The station features a unique cave-like design, with reddish-orange walls and large cement pillars that reference the courthouse above. Designed by the artist Sigvard Olsson, the station features a distinctive aesthetic that incorporates exposed bedrock, typical of several stations in Sweden.
