I Tragoudistra (The Songstress) is a Greek operetta from the early 20th century and is described on the cover as a 'Panorama of 1900'. It tells the story of an aspiring young singer named Fofo who comes to Athens in pursuit of fame. The work portrays the bohemian life, dreams, and disappointments of a singer's career, set against the backdrop of turn-of-the-century Athens. The music was written by Theodoros Xanthopoulos (1864–1942) and the lyrics by the playwright and poet Timoleon Moraitinis (1875–1952).
