Fahad served in the Arab-Israeli War of 1967 where he was wounded. He was killed during the Iraq invasion of Kuwait as he was defending the Dasman Palace in Kuwait City in 1990. He may have been born in 1943 instead.

Son of Ahmad Al-Sabah, Sheikh of Kuwait, and Fatima N. He married Fazila Al-Sabah, and had issue.
