Son of Ali Al-Sabah, and Lulwa Al-Sabah. He was married firstly to Munira Al-Sabah (divorced); secondly to Badria, daughter of Abdurahman Al-Rumi; thirdly, in 1955, to Al-Anud Al-Sabah; fourthly to Wadha Al-Adwani. He had issue.
