Jakov Obrenović (-1811) Biographical It is stated that Jakob's offspring changed their surname in 1851 from Obrenović to Jakovljević due to conflicts with the Karadjordjevic family. In 2004, the Gornji Milanovac district court ruled that the Jakovljevićs were descendants of Jakov Obrenović and named them heirs to the property of the royal Obrenović family, despite the fact that they did not descend from that line. Place of death: Brousnitza Place of burial: Saint Nicholas Church, Brusnica |
