In 1555 Henriette was betrothed to Jean IX de Créquy, prince of
Poix. The dispute over Tende and its dependencies that arose between her

resolved, but in 1581, Henriette accepted the Duke of Savoy's proposal
to put an end to the matter. She accepted the agreement of relinquishing
the right to the lands in question in exchange for payment and receiving
other territories, although it was to her detriment.
