In 1555 Henriette was betrothed to Jean IX de Créquy, prince of Poix. The dispute over Tende and its dependencies that arose between her father, Honorè, and her cousin, Renée, was still not fully resolved, but in 1581, Henriette accepted the Duke of Savoy's proposal to put an end to the matter. She accepted the agreement of relinquishing the right to the lands in question in exchange for payment and receiving other territories, although it was to her detriment.

Daughter of Honoré de Savoie-Villars and Jeanne de Foix. She was married firstly to Melchior des Prez in 1560, with issue, and secondly to Charles de Lorraine in 1576, with issue.
