Said to be an illegitimate son of
Thomas III de Savoie and an unknown woman, and that he had a son named
Hugonin, but that Hugonin (Hugues) is actually an illegitimate son of
Pierre, the Archbishop of Lyon. Lancelot was not mentioned in his supposed
father's will.
