Biographical
Dame de Saint-Maurice 1239
In 1239 Marguerite received Saint-Maurice in Chablais and the castle of
Monteuz. Her marriage was childless.
She died in 1270 or
1273. She is said to have married secondly to Eberhard von Habsburg-Laufenburg,
although that is very unlikely.
Daughter of Thomas I de Savoie and Béatrice de Géneve. She
married Hartmann III von Kyburg in 1218.
