Biographical
Raised at Racconigi, Marianna was sent to the monastery of Santa Chiara
at Pinerolo for her education in 1718, and became a nun under the name
of Sister Chiara Maria di Marignan, from 1752. She is believed to have
died in 1769 because the pension she received from Piedmont ceased.
Illegitimate daughter of Vittorio Amedeo I di Savoia and Felicità
Parà di Marignan (†1742).
