Maurice

Biographical
Colonel
Maurice served in the Imperial army under the command of his uncle, Prince
Eugène. In 1709, he fought at the Battle of Malplaquet against
the French. He then took part in the war of succession for Charles III
of Austria. He was involved in a duel with Count Archinto at Flanders,
killing his adversary.
