Biographical

On her deathbed, Savoiarda's mother confided in her friend, the poet Agathe Sophie Sassernò, about the daughter she had with a man of importance. Measures for the welfare of her daughter began to be organised, but she died soon after her mother.

Illegitimate daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele II of Italy (Savoy) and Baronesse Victoire Duplessis (†<1859).
