In 1315, he witnessed an act of parliament in Paris, and in 1325, he was
appointed executor of the will for Jeanne of Burgundy, wife of Philippe
V of France. He was present at the battle of Bouvines in 1340.

Son of Thomas III de Savoie and Guye of Burgundy.
