Conte di Collegno >1561–<69†
Antonio Maria was raised at the court of the Este, and became its ambassador
to the Empire. He paid homage to Emmanuel Philibert, Duke of Savoy, and
after the war between France and Spain broke out in 1556, he helped Luigi,
son of the Duke of Ferrara, escape from prison. Once this was made public,
Antonio himself had to flee Spain. He later became steward to Emmanuel
Philibert, Duke of Savoy.
Son of Francesco di Savoia and Giachele Ferrero Fieschi. He married Giulia
degli Obizzi in 1545, and had issue.
