Biographical

In 1538, Lionetta sold her rights to her paternal inheritance to Francis I, King of France, who was occupying Piedmont at the time, which was the cause of the subsequent dispute over the fief of Cavour between France and Savoy.

Daughter of Giovanni Francesco di Savoia and Violante Valperga. She married Aleramo Valperga.
