Duque de Benavente 1371/75–94 confiscated

Fadrique helped form the League of Lillo against his nephew Enrique III, who imprisoned him and confiscated his lands in 1394.

Place of death: Almodovar del Río

Illegitimate son of Enrique II, King of Castile and Beatriz Ponce de León, he was married in 1392/93 to Leonor of Castile, with issue:
• Leonor, *1393/94, †1470 Calabazanos; married 1480 to Pedro Manrique de Lara, with issue. She became a Clarissan nun after she was widowed.

Fadrique had illegitimate issue by an unnamed woman:
• a son, proposed as a hostage during negotiations for peace with Portugal in 1393
