Led the French army in Orléans against the English during their attempt
to conquer France in the Hundred Years' War, 1429.[J92]
Present at the coronation of Charles VII in 1429.[J92]
Captured by the Burgundians at the siege of Compiègne, 1430, and imprisoned.[J92]
Sold by the Burgundians to the English who put her on trial at Rouen for
heresy and she was executed.[J92]
After an enquiry into the trial ordered by Charles VII, her sentence was
revoked by the Pope in 1455-56.[J92]
