Comte de Paris (–676) Other names: Garinus, Gerwin, Garin, Warnier Biographical Comte de Paris By charted dated 671, Warin granted two estates to the Abbot of Fontanelle. He and his brother, Leodegar, supported the appointment of the maior domus Leudesius in 673, but after Leudesius' downfall, Warin was murdered. As a saint, his feast day is 25 August. Son of Bodilon and Sigrade, he married Gunza and had issue. |
