Danica Matoš
(1876-1962)
Biographical
She was a concert pianist and coloratura soprano who toured Europe and performed
on many of the best stages until settling in Riga and marrying a Swedish
baron. She studied music in Zagreb under the pianist Barbot-Krezinc,
and in Becu under the pianist Lescheticky and singing teacher Papier.
