Barton
(1757–1820) Biographical MP for Fethard Of Grove, Tipperary. Son of William Barton and Grace Massy, he married Mary Ponsonby, and had issue: • Mary, †1866, married 1834 to George FitzGerald, with no issue • Grace, †1863, Berne, Switzerland, married firstly in 1816 to Kingsmill Pennefather, †1819, his second marriage, with issue. She was married secondly in 1826 to Major Michelangelo Galeazzi, †1859; • Catherine, married to Edmund Staples • William (see) • Chambré Brabazon, Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Life Guards, he took part int he Battle of Waterloo, †1834 • Charles Robert, Major in the 14th Light Dragoons, died unmarried |
