In the 1812 Campaign, he fought at Vitebsk, Lubino, Zabolotye, Borodino, Maloyaroslavets, Vyazma and Krasnyi. He served at Lutzen and Bautzen, 1813, the battle of Leipzig and the seige of Hamburg, 1814, and in France during the blockade of Soissons, 1815.
