Magnard
(1904–68) Biographical A painter of scenes with figures and landscapes, Odine was a pupil of both André Lhote and Ferdinand Léger. Her work was displayed in French exhibitions, particularly at the Salon des Indépendants, as well as in Prague, where she occasionally exhibited alongside her spouse. In 1955, she created a work commissioned for the municipal building of Paris's 14th arrondissement. Her Prague cityscapes were executed in a post-Cubist manner that echoed the style of Lionel Feininger.
