| Sybille Krosch (1924–) | ||||||||||
| A Dutch sculptor and monumental artist, Krosch is known for her striking public artworks that blend both figurative and abstract styles. Born in Norf, Germany, she moved to The Hague in 1946 and studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts from 1956 to 1960. Her materials of choice—bronze, ceramic, concrete, and resin—are often shaped into human and animal forms, portraits, and reliefs. Krosch’s works are prominently displayed in public spaces throughout the Netherlands, particularly in Norf, Delft, and The Hague. A member of The Hague Art Circle, she has exhibited in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, noted for her commitment to creating accessible art that blends seamlessly into both urban and natural environments. | ||||||||||
